Honestly, even for casual play, it can give you a big edge. You don't need to be a pro to benefit from better lineups. The optimizer does a lot of the heavy lifting.

How are the Draftdime projections compared to, say, Stokastic or RotoGrinders? Are they generally more accurate?

I've used both and Draftdime's projections feel really solid, especially for NBA. I wouldn't say 'more accurate' definitively, but they hold their own. The tools around them are what really sets DD apart for me.

It's hard to say 'better' because everyone has their own sauce, but I've found DD to be really competitive. The ownership projections are usually spot on, which helps a ton.

If I get the optimizer for one sport, does that include the Sims tool? Or is that a separate add-on?

I believe the Sims tool is generally included with most of the optimizer packages, especially the premium ones. It's not usually a standalone purchase.

From what I remember, the Sims tool is part of the main subscription tiers, not an extra cost unless you're on a very basic plan (which might not even exist anymore).

Oh yeah, the annual plan is a significantly better deal if you know you're gonna use it for a full year. I think it worked out to like 2-3 free months compared to monthly when I signed up.

They have an export feature that generates a CSV. Works with both DK and FD uploads, so no manual entry needed thankfully.
